World's style debate tournament:
The Board of Directors will use the official Worlds style used in many other debate competitions. Adjudicators, who have significant experience in this style of debating, and the newly trained teachers, who will gain experience by watching various rounds, shall do all judging and scoring. Topics relevant to socio-political issues will be finalized in early January, thus giving schools significant time to prepare and do research as necessary.

Impromptu speaking competition:
This one-hour event takes place while finalists are preparing for the championship round. Many times debate competitions emphasize painstaking preparations. We hope students will be able to learn the art of extemporaneous speaking as well during this conference. Teachers are welcome to attend this event.
